Education

In 2007-2008, Humanitas Afrika implemented a project named Bon Départ in the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou. In collaboration with two local schools, we trained not less than 100 women in basic administrative skills. Young women who applied for this course didn’t complete their education and due to this, many of them were in difficult situation.

Upon the completion of the course, they acquired basic computer skills and other knowledge and skills required on the local job market. Thanks to this, a lot of them found a job, e.g. in local small businesses, schools, state institutions or in NGO sector. The project was financially supported by Regional Partnership Programme. We are currently looking for new partners for the project as this programme had been closed.
